Goods worth over Rs 1.04cr traded along LoC | | | Early Times report POONCH, May 8 : Goods worth over Rs 1.04 crore were traded between at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said. As many as 23 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to PoK today, they said. However, PoK traders returned 21 trucks of chilli and anar dana saying these items were of substandard quality. The other items in two trucks were worth Rs 6,31,620. From PoK, 11 trucks carrying bags of badam, dry grapes and potato crossed to this side. The traders of State returned back three trucks of potato claiming that the rates of potatoes were very high. Other items were worth Rs 98,28,933, they said. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1300 hrs to 1330 hrs and 1615 hrs to 1650 hrs, they said. |
