| Two CRPF jawans killed in militant attack | | |
Srinagar, Aug 01 Two CRPF jawans were killed and another injured when militants attacked their patrol party in Dalgate area of the city today, official sources said.
Militants opened fire on the CRPF patrol at around 11.35 am killing a jawan on the spot while the other died on way to hopsital, they said.
A civilian was also injured in the attack which took place near a crowded bus stop in area.
Police assisted by other security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt for the assailants, the sources said.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. |
