| Charges framed against Naib tehsildar, Ors | | Fake PRC Case | | early times report
Jammu, May 9: Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Pawan Dev Kotwal has framed charges in a fake PRC Scam against Parasram, Mangat Ram, Devi Ditta, Ramesh Kumar u/s 420/468/471/120-B RPC and against then Naib Tehsildar Girdhari Lal Megni Court framed charges 5(1) (d) r/w section 5(2) PC Act 2006 and discharged Kuldeep Kumar from the charges leveled against him. According to the Crime Branch case mother of Parasram, Mangat Ram and grand mother of Devi Ditta, Ramesh Kumar and Kuldeep Kumar namely Premi Dev was non state-subject, but she obtained permanent resident certficiate fraudletly in the year 1964 and in connivance with the then Revenue Officers and Girdhari Lal Mengi then Naib Tehsildar recommended the issuance of said certificate in her favour. Similarly allegations accused accused persons that they are not state subjects, but on the basis of false statements, affidavits and manipulated copy of electoral roll/ censes 1951 obtained PRCs fraudulently after hatching conspiracy with the revenue officers, which have been canclled by the Govt on the recommendation of Commission of Enquiry.
