| BJP’s landmark initiative to train block level cadre from May 11 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 10: To prepare its cadres for the forthcoming local body Municapl Corporation elections the BJP is organizing state level Training cum orientation camps from May 11 and first such camp will be held in Arnas in Reasi distrct.
This will be a landmark initiative, beginning from tomorrow in which BJP is will be for the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, organizing series of Prashikshan Vargs (Training cum orientation camps) at Mandal (block) level covering all the districts within a period of next 20 days with the objective of educating the grassroot party workers at the lowest level about the history, ideology and future goals of the party in the country and in the state. The first inaugural Varg (camp) in the series will be held at Arnas "Mandal" of Reasi district and shall be graced by BJP state, chief spokesperson and National Executive Member Dr. Jitendra Singh who is also the District Prabhari (Incharge) for District Reasi. Distt. President, Kabla Singh is making local arrangements for the Arnas camp which is expected to be attended by over 50 prominent grassroot party activists. This was disclosed by BJP State Secretary, Yudhvir Sethi, who is also state convenor of Prashikshan Varg. Yudhvir Sethi said that BJP has been organizing Prashikshan Vargs at State level in the past and recently it was also organized at Districts level but such vargs at mandal level are being organized for the first time. He said the motive is to educate the activists of the party, who have been bestowed with some responsibility at mandal level, These Prashikshan Vargs will be spread over different sessions, with each session exclusively devoted to one particular subject with a senior leader speaking on the subject in length.
The important subjects on which lectures and discussion will be held include "History and Growth of BJP over the years, Vision and Ideology of BJP and the Sang Parivar, Land marks in the past decades, Future challenges and Election strategies". Yudhvir Sethi said that all such Vargs shall be held from 11 to 31 May, 2012 to ensure that within 20 days the cycle of this block level interactive cum educative meets gets completed in more than 40 mandals in all the districts. |
