| Arms, ammunition recovered in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 10: Arms and ammunition were today recovered by security forces from a hideout of militants in Chicka Khet, Gadyog Madyal, forests of Budhal in Rajouri. Acting on a tip-off that there existed a militant hideout in Chicka Khet woods, a joint column of police and army launched an operation in the area in the morning.
Official sources said the jawans came across the hideout, while making searches in the dense forests. Two .303 rifles with 93 rounds and some other explosive items were recovered from there, the sources added. The hideout was later smashed by the jawans. |
