| Haji Rashid visits Katra Government Arts Emporium | | | Jammu, Jan 28
Chairman, J&K Handicrafts corporation Haji Abdul Rashid paid a surprise visit of Kashmir Government Arts Emporium, Katra Jammu and inspected various units of the handicrafts goods.
Accompanied by Managing Director,G.N. Naikoo, Mr. Haji Rashid directed for completion of sales target of Rs. 50 lakhs this year and Rs. one crore for next financial year.
Haji Rashid while interacting with the employees of the corporation directed the authorities for installation of A.C and credit card machine within weeks time.
He said in view of the heavy rush of the tourists to the place, the employees should show their enthusiasm and dedication towards their work and should also explore possibilities of multiplying the business of the area with respect to handicrafts like paper machie, Shawls, Carpets, Chain stitch rugs and other allied items.
