| Deptt indifferent towards cocoon rearers' losses: Kirmkash Union | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, May 10: Kirmkash Union district Rajouri has expressed grave concern over the silence of the Sericulture department regarding huge loss being suffered by the Cocoon rearers in the district. In a meeting of Union held under the Chairmanship Moti Ram at Sunderbani, serious concern was expressed over the failure of department to look into the issues of cocoon rearers as a result the farmers are suffering a lot. This is second time that Cocoon rearers of Sunderbani-Nowshera and several other parts of district Rajouri have suffered huge loss due to defective seed.The union would launch a struggle against the attitude of the department towards cocoon rearers of this area and sought an enquiry and adequate compensation, otherwise to face agitation. |
