Over Rs 54-lakh goods traded across LoC | | | Early Times Report POONCH, May 10 : Goods worth over Rs 54 lakh were traded today across the Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), officials said. Three trucks rolled out from the Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to POK, carrying bags of chilli worth Rs 19,28,500, they said. From POK, seven trucks carrying bags of dry dates, herbs, walnuts and potato crossed to this side and these were worth Rs 35,44,990, they added. Officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1300 hours to 1330 hours and 1530 hours to 1400 hours, they said. |
