| CM interacts with Kashmiri students | | Students proceed on all India study tour | | Jammu, Jan 28 Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here today interacted with a group of Kashmiri students who are proceeding on all India study tour. Chief Minister had earlier emphasized that frequent study tours of students of the state should be ensured so that they are able to get full exposure of life in young age. The education department accordingly selected 40 students for all India study tour. This is the third such group of students of 11th and 12th classes of various higher secondary schools of Kashmir valley proceeding on the study tour of various parts of the country this year. Mr. Azad while complimenting education department for organizing the tour, said that such study tours should be organised regularly twice in a year both during winter and summer vacations so that maximum number of students from the state get opportunity to visit various parts of the country and experience its rich diversity and glorious composite cultural heritage. Chief Minister said that he is confident of high talent, capabilities and capacities of the students of the state, adding that they should act as ambassadors of the state and apprise their counterparts in other parts of the country during the tour about the rich and high composite cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir. He said such tours are best medium of integration and have high educational importance. Incharge of the tour Mr. Abdul Aziz Hajini informed Mr. Azad that during 19-day tour the students will visit historical and other important places like Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Agra, Ajmer and Amritsar.
