Ek vidhan,Ek nishan: we will take our campaign to panchayat level : khajuria
1/28/2007 10:54:26 PM
Jammu, Jan 28
State BJP Chief Ashok Khajuria on Sunday reiterated his stand on the issue of ‘ek vidhan, ek nishan’ and said state BJP is ready to take its mass campaign in support of one flag one constitution to the Panchayat level to galvanise support of masses.
"Through this campaign we will expose the politics of Kashmir oriented leadership in the state,Khajuria said at a press conference here at party headquarters.
The state BJP Chief once again dared the state government to arrest him if they think he was committing crime and showing disrespect to any state symbol .
” I am ready to face any punishment, he said asserting that honour of the National Flag and full integration of the state is on top agenda of the party and he would not compromise.
He said “we have been demanding Ek Vidhan-Ek Pradhan-Ek Nishaan from the days of Praja Parishad and it was due to great sacrifices of nationalist leaders, particularly Dr. Shyama Prashad Mookerjee.
We have to achieve Ek-Vidhan and Ek Nishaan also and the party is ready to make any sacrifice for the same.”
The party is going to organize mass campaign up to the Panchayat level to galvanise support of masses.
During the press conference Khajuria also demanded resignations of Member Parliament belonging to Congress, PDP and National conference in response to the demand raised by the NC legislators putting pressure on lone BJP legislator Jugal Kishore to resign from the post of the legislator if he does not respect state flag.Khajuria also demanded CBI probe in to allegations leveled by wife of Mohd Afzal Guru alleging that she had to pay Rs 1 lakh to STF for securing release of her husband in 2000. "BJP demand hanging of Mohd Afzal Guru and CBI inquiry in to the allegations leveled by his wife",state BJP chief said.
Taking strong note of the statement of CPI(M) leader Mouhd Yusuf Tarigami on Governors address in the state assembly on Saturday, BJP chief said MY Tarigami belong to a anti national party which has a long history of supporting attack on India by china army. ”I donot deem it fit to comment on the remarks of a agent who change track to suit their needs and thrive on emotional blackmail.
Khajuria said, the BJP is of the view that the time has finally
come to review the stand on the temporary Article 370, which
has not only given a special status to
Jammu and Kashmir on
the score of religion but also emboldened the separatists to
seek separation of Jammu and Kashmir from India.
According to the BJP, Article 370 has not only promoted
fissiparous tendencies in the state and accorded dangerous
respectability to an extreme form of religious fundamentalism,
but
also denied the people of the state those normal civil and
political rights which are available to the rest of Indians all over
India.

The BJP is also of the view that the Congress-led UPA
government at the Centre and Congress-led coalition
government in the state have singularly failed to book such
anti-India elements as Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani and similar
other separatists.
The BJP can legitimately accuse the Central government of
giving full support to the separatists in order to allow them to
pollute the state’s religions and political atmosphere and help
Pakistan in a big way.
The very fact that the likes of Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani are
openly preaching sedition against India in the presence of the
Indian security forces is a clear proof that the Indian state under
the Congress rule has become subversive in nature and action.

The BJP takes this opportunity to once again challenge the state
government to arrest those who have been demanding
abrogation of Article 370 and collapse of the state constitution
under which the state has the right to have a separate flag.
