| PDP Kissan cell meets Agriculture Deptt officials; highlights demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 11 : A deputation lead by state President PDP Kissan Cell Satpal Singh Charak met Director Agriculture, Chief Agriculture officer Jammu and Area Manager Food Corporation of India here today. The points discussed with the authorities about procurement mandis of grain, availability of green manure and seeds. It is pertinent to mention here that as per advertisement of the department these mandis are non functional venues mentioned by the department. Further more the department had assured to start procurement grain mandis within days.
Charak stressed upon the department to beserious about the matter at the earliest otherwise farmer will come on the roads and will take other remedial measures. |
