| HSS protests against frequent power cuts in Jammu | | | early times report
Jammu, May 11: A deputation of Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) under the leadership of President Dimpy Kohli met the authorities of state electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) and apprised them about the frequent electricity cuts. Kohli expressed surprise that immediately after the Darbar move there are frequent unscheduled power cuts due to this power curtailment and power cuts, water supply is also badly affected. Public is facing hardships due to less power and water supply.
As the summer is approaching, if such power cuts continue, public will be forced to come on streets and Hindustan Shiv Sena will protests and demonstration in front of SERC and in front chief engineer PDD office. Next month ShriAmarnath ji Yatra is also starting so regularization of electric and water supply is very essential.
A special power line should be provided to the base camp at Yatri Niwas. However the authorities assured the deputation that electricity will be regularized within few days. Others who accompanied the deputation are G.I Singh, Jatinder Kohli, Satish Sahni, Rohit Sharma, H.KSharma, Kulbir Chib, H.K Sahni, Rajinder Sharma and Pawan Sharma.
