Bhim Singh hits hard at Omar | Calls him agent of `hidden' forces | | Early Times Report jammu, May 11: Chairman, National Panthers Party, Prof. Bhim Singh has sought mobilization of nationalist against `revival of anti-national elements' in the State by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. Addressing members of the working committee here today, Bhim said: "Nationalist forces in the State and particularly the Panthers Party activists should mobilize public opinion in Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu Pradesh against Omar Abdullah's dangerous policy to revive anti-national elements in the State which were buried by Indira-Sheikh Accord in 1975." Accusing Omar of being an agent of `hidden forces', Singh said he has revived the old slogan of anti-national elements, buried Indira-Sheikh Accord and given a new lease of life to the communal, corrupt and sectarian elements. "His slogan against integration of the State on the floor of the Assembly, his challenge to the integrity of the Indian Army and indulging in mass corruption and criminal acts like custodial death of Haji Yusuf must serve as eye opener for nationalists", he said. Bhim said: "In Jammu Pradesh he is patron of BJP leaders, in the Valley he is brother-in-arm with the Jamat-e-Islami and in Delhi he is ally with the Congress Party." The Professor called on youth and students of the State to strictly enforce social boycott against the Congress legislators asking them to withdraw support to Omar Abdullah who, according to him, has become a security risk. Those present in the meeting include Harshdev Singh and Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLAs, S Daljit Singh and Anita Thakur. |
