| Two receive burn injuries due to lightning | | |

Jammu, May 12: Two persons today suffered critical burn injuries when lightning struk in village Sapwal in Samba district, police sources said.
According to police sources, the duo identified namely as Darshan Lal and Janak Raj were walking towards their village, when rainfall started and they took shelter under a tree.
"As the ill luck they had, the lightening struck, amid rainfall at the same tree resulting into fatal injuries to them," police sources. Police said that locals rushed them to the Emergency Hospital Vijaypur Samba for necessary medicare. |
