| JK Institute of Nursing celebrates Intn'l Nurses Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 12 : JK Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Jammu celebrated international Nurses Day to commemorate the Birthday of Florence Nightingale followed by Annual Day Celebrations.
The programme sta-rted with the lighting of the traditional lamp. A cultural bonanza comprising Folk Songs, Folk dances and skits was presented to mark the occasion. Swarn Sharma, president of the Institute welcomed the dignitaries and read-out the annual report highlighting the various achievement of the institute.
While addressing the function she appreciated the commendable work undertaken by the institute.The colo-urful and impressive function concluded with the vote of thanks by Umesh Sharma, Managing Director of the institute. He emphasized upon including the values of life among pupil-teachers and students for developing a better society. He also threw light on life, works and system service of great lady, Florence Nig-htingale. |
