SSH expresses concern over unscheduled power cuts, warns agitation | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: The Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has expressed serious concern over the unscheduled power cuts by the Power Development Department (PDD) in Jammu city. Addressing a press conference here today, the provincial president of SSH, Dinesh Mahajan said that this is very unfortunate that the people of Jammu region who are paying their power bills on time are forcing to face the unscheduled power cuts from 10 to 12 hours a day which is effecting the education of children besides water supply has also been affected badly. Criticizing the local leaders and Ministers from Jammu region, he said, the leaders who are the voice of Jammu in the State Assembly has failed to take-up our issues in a right manner as the result no official handout regarding the unscheduled power cuts has been issued by the department. "The time has come for the people of Jammu to teach a lesson to all the leaders of Jammu as the people have lost faith in them," he said. The organization has further warned the authorities to stop these unscheduled power cuts and did not try to check the patience of Jammu people. Other wise the Sena activists has to come on roads to protest against these power cuts. Among other address the conference were Vikrant Kapoor, Anoop Trikha, Vivek Sharma, Parveen Gupta and Varun Sharma. |
