This was disclosed by joint secretary of JKCA Jammu wing, Hardev Singh. He said that 16 teams from affiliated clubs shall be taking part in this event on knock-out basis. "Likewise, last year, best teams out of Prof Pran Nath tournament shall compete in the next event of President's Cup," said the joint secretary. The fixture for the tournament was being drawn by the organizing committee set-up for the purpose. Unlike the rapid growth of `unprofessional' Twenty20 cricket, this will be a real one-day game with 50 overs play. Meanwhile, according to the reports reaching here, the Kashmir wing of JKCA was also planning to start domestic activities from first week of June. |
