| RBPS organises Ramcharitmanas recitation contest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
jammu, May 13: The Jammu chapter of Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Smiti (RBPS) organised a Ramcharitmanas recitation contest in the premises of Dewan Badri Nath (DBN) Vidya Mandir, Jammu. Secretary, Jammu Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, Ramesh Kahjuria was the chief guest while Trustee, DBN School, Rajinder Kakkar, presided over the function.
As many as 10 schools participated in the event wherein the students presented different episodes of Ramch-aritmanas. Harsh Bali bagged first position while Sudhanshu Chouhan and Vidushi Gupta stood second and third respectively. Varsha Jamwal received the consolation prize.
Prof Shiv Dev Singh Manhas, Dr Rama Sharma and Prof Parveen Kumari adjudged the performance of the students.
On the occasion, Samiti felicitated Rajinder Kakkar by presenting him a citation and shawl.
