BJYM condemns stopping of Amarnath bound pilgrims | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 13: Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has condemned the stopping of Amarnath shrine bound activists of Bajrang Dal (BD) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) by the state administration at Jhajjar Kotli today. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of State BJYM president Munish Sharma at State BJP head quarters Kachi Chawni, the BJYM activists blamed the State govt. for making lame excuses for extending the date of the Yatra. He accused the State govt. for playing with the sentiments of the Hindu Community. Sharma also stated that the govt has failed to live upto the expectations of the people and it has been diverting the minds of the general public from a very long time. This has proved that the govt. is very much interested in satisfying separatists and it is not concerned about other segments of the society at all. Adding to this he also said that still action has not been taken against those people who disrespected the National Anthem at a function held at Kashmir University in which the Governor was the Chief guest and those who have always supported Nationalist things have always been disrespected by this government. He warned the govt. to not to interfere in religious matters of Hindus otherwise BJYM will launch a movement against the government. |
