CAPD probing alleged scam in Rajouri, says Director | | | EArly Times Report rajouri, May 13: Two days after two employees of the department were apprehended by police along with an amount of Rs 1 cr here, CAPD director Parvez Malik today said a probe was already on in an alleged scam in the department in Rajouri. Talking to Early Times over phone, Malik said the probe was initiated after some locals had lodged a complaint with the CM's grievance cell and also with CAPD minister, alleging financial irregularities in the Rajouri wing of the department. He said while he had called the office record of Rajouri to Jammu for a detailed probe, another development of police arresting two CAPD employees took place. It may be mentioned that two CAPD employees were taken into custody by police two days back while they were going to deposit Rs 1 cr in the office account in the Rajouri branch of J&K Bank. Malik felt that some employees of CAPD, Rajouri, must have conducted some financial irregularities, and to save themselves, must have gone to the bank to deposit money in the CAPD account. He said an indepth probe would be held to find out if there existed any scam in CAPD, Rajouri. |
