| 2 Killed nine injured in mishap at Dulhasti | | | 2 KILLED NINE INJURED IN MISHAP AT DULHASTI
DODA, January 29 (KIP): Two workers were killed and nine others were injured as some portion of the concrete block near the entry point of the tunnel under the Dulhasti Hydro Power Project collapsed in Doda District's Dool region early this morning.
The mishap occurred around midnight when some workers were working near the entry point of the tunnel.
According to official sources, two workers Om Prakash S/O Bhagat Ram R/O Pandyorne Kishtwar and Shahid Hussain S/O Abdul Majid R/o Kishtwar died on the spot as they were trapped under the weighty concrete structure. Nine others injured in the collapse were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.Three among them were later shifted to Government medical college Jammu.Official sources said after paying homage to the deceased work at the project site was again started.
