| BBIA flays PDD for unscheduled power cuts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 14: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has flayed Power Development Department (PDD) for unscheduled power cuts in Bari Brahmana Industrial area
The members of the Associaiton rued the poor power scenario in a meeting held under the chairmanship of their president Annil Suri
The members held detailed discussions on the deteriorating power supply in SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana, Jammu for the last 15 days.
Association members strongly flayed the working of PDD where nobody is accountable for repeated power failures in the Industrial Area.
The department is not taking this issue seriously due to which the industrialists are facing huge financial losses, production losses and frequent machinery breakdown. The PDD authorities responsible for the supply, maintenance and up keep of power infrastructure in the industrial complex should be held accountable for repeated power breakdowns.
This phenomenon is repeatedly occurring for the last fifteen days and nothing is being done by PDD to improve and supply uninterrupted quality power to industries.
BBIA appeals to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene into this matter and issue necessary orders to restore the power supply to industrial sector without any unscheduled power cuts. |
