| Inter School Tournament concludes at Balla | | | early times report
doda, May 14: The Zonal level Boys & Girls inter school tournament for 14 and 17 years age groups, in different disciplines, organized by the Department of youth service and Sports concluded today at Balla. The Tournament was earlier inaugurated by Principal R.K.Koul, H.S.S. Malothi & Shri Ved Parkash, while ZEO Bhalla was the guest of honour. Speaking at the valedictory function, Principal R.K.Koul appreciated the participants for their excellent performance and asked them to hone their skills in the sports of their interest. The chief guest appreciated the participants and role of field staff in organising the tournament in a systematic manner and said that successful completion of sports event was a step forward towards ushering the state into an era of peace, harmony by transmitting message of friendship salacity and National integration.
About 278 girls and boys student players participated in various games during the tournament . The District Youth Service & Sports Officer Doda, Mr S R Kotwal declared tournament open under all over supervision of Ashok Kumar ZPEO Bhalla. Zonal Physical Education Officer Bhalla extended his vote of thanks to chair for extending his full co-operation by providing all facilities for smooth conduct of said tournament. The matches were officiated by, Rajinder Kumar PEM, Murtaza Qadir Pet, Gurdari Lal Pet, Ajaz Ahmed, Sharda Devi, Nazima Iqbal, Nazir Ahmed and other. |
