| KV Miran Sahib celebrates annual day | | | early times report
JAMMU, May 14: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Miran Sahib today celebrated its annual day with great enthusiasm amidst presentation of colourful cultural programme and prize distribution among those who excelled in academic and other activities held during the academic session.
Deputy Inspector General of BSF Headquarters, I- Nagar and Chairman of the Vidya-laya Management Committee (VMC), Virendera Singh was chief guest. Director Airport, M.Suresh and Commandant 182 Bn of BSF, AK Singh were guests of honour. Earlier, in his welcome address, Principal BL Marodia presented annual report of the institution. He highlighted the achievements of the Vidyalaya in different fields of sports, culture and education.
A midst cultural programme, talented Kavya presented solo Bharat Natyam recital.
A skit was present on women empowerment which was followed by another hindi skit `Nari Sashaktikaran' highlighting that 'pride comes before a fall'.
Later, speaking to the gathering of students and parents, chief guest congratulated the management of KV Miran Sahib in shaping the future of young children by way of involving them in different activities while paying all attention to their education. |
