| NPSU demands introduction of re-evaluation for B Com (Honours) | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 14: Demanding introduction of re-evaluation system for B. Com (Honours) course, National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a strong protest demonstration at Old Campus, Jammu University here today.
Students of the B.Com Honours alongwith the activists of NPSU gathered at the main gate of Old Campus and raised slogans against the concerned authorities. The protest was led by Mahesh Bakshi (Tehsil President NPSU) and Lucky Singh (Distt. President NPSU. Addressing the media persons Partap Singh said that the course of B.Com Hon's was started last year but the re-evaluation/rechecking and Statue system was not implemented in this course.
Now a session came to an end and still these facilities are not provided for this course. He said that many students are dissatisfied with the result declared few days ago thus they want the re-evaluation for their exams but the re-evaluation system is not implemented this which is clear injustice with the students of B.Com Hon's. Jamwal demanded that Dean Academic Affairs and VC of JU should look into the matter and should immediately introduce Re-evaluation, rechecking and statue system in this course as in other degree courses. |
