| Impersonator arrested with fake notary stamps | | |

Jammu , May 14: A man impersonating as an advocate was today arrested along with fake stamps of notary and stamp papers in Janipur area of this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, police here said.
"An impersonator identified as Sanjay Nagar, resident of Durga Nagar, Janipur was apprehended this morning on specific input by the police from Court Road," a police official said.
They said the accused was running a typing institute and impersonating himself as an advocate. "He used to attest affidavits with fake notary stamps," he added. A case under section 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 472 and 473 of Ranbir Penal Code has been registered and investigations are in progress.
