| MIER celebrates Mother’s Day | | | early times report
JAMMU, May 14: Maintaining its tradition of developing cultural ethos amongst its students, Centre for Women studies at MIER College of Education in collaboration with Model Academy organized a special function to mark 'Mother's Day' at its campus. Prof. ArtiBakshi Head, Dept. of Psychology University of Jammuwas the chief guest on this occasion. Dr. Renu Gupta Director MIER was the guest of honour.Other guests present were Dr. Adit Gupta Joint Director MIER, Rupa Gupta Principal Model Academy, Ruchika Gupta Project Director Humming Buds, Usha Gadoo Vice Principal Model Academy along with various
faculty members of the school and college. Over 50 mothers of the school children were also invited for the function and to interact
with the learned speaker.
A colourfu lprogramme was presented by the Tiny Tots of Humming Buds. The mothers were hosted to a series of games to enable them to display their talent in competitive spirit. The winners were also awarded prizes. The talented young toddlers enthralled the parents with dance and song items.Dr. Renu Gupta Director MIER in her address to the mothers appreciated their task and also impressed upon them that their role was very important in shaping a child personality. PragatiPradhan compered the programme and Apurva Gupta presented the Vote of Thanks. |
