| VKMI's Institute of Moral & Social Sciences inaugurated | | | early times report
JAMMU, May 14: Vichar Kranti March International (VKMI) inaugurated its head office "Institute of Moral & Social Sciences" at Channi Himmat Sector-2, Jammu which is first of its kind in J&K State. Under this Institution, propagation of moral and ethical values in the society, especially in youth/students with a result oriented approach backed by follow up in a scientific and planned manner is envisaged. This aims at eradication of burning social evils, like corruption, adulteration, sex scandals, crime, violence, drug abuse, female foeticide, communal intolerance etc.
To fill up the vacuum in imparting moral and ethics created due to lack of due attention and seriousness on the parts of parents, teachers and religious institutions, VKMI started inculcation of values in ten Govt. & Private adopted schools last year on regular basis with good response and results. On the basis of literature and syllabi distributed among the students and orientation given to the teachers will be put on regular and rigorous evaluation, monitoring and expansion of the programme shall be taken up in other parts of the J&K state/other states of India as well.
An international organ-isation Shanti Kunj Hari-dwar organised a Hawan under the blessings of Acharya Sharat Kumar with an objective of invoking divine blessings for peace and prosperity in the world. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, president VKMI, was the chief guest on the occasion. |
