| Adequate power supply for Pampore sought | | | Jammu, January 29
Member Legislative Assembly, Pampore Mir Zahoor Ahmed has expressed his deep concern over the fire incident, which took place in Shaar Pampore yesterday extensively damaging three houses.
Demanding relief to the fire suffers, Mir Zahoor urged upon the district administration to depute the Revenue Officers on spot to assess the property damaged due to fire and submit the report to the government for financial assistance to the affected families.
Meanwhile, Mir Zahoor has stressed upon the Power Development authorities to provide adequate power supply to the inhabitants of Pampore and also upgrade Tanchipora Pampore receiving station for fulfilling the long pending demand of the area and also to avoid the overloading of the said receiving station. He also stressed for joining Kranchoo and Chandihara with Lethpora receiving station.
