| Health awareness camp organized for Railway police | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 15: A health awareness camp was organized by Shiv Kumar SP Railways Jammu in collaboration with Department of Indian System of Medicine (Ayurvedic) Jammu in the premises of GRP Lines Jammu. Some of the police officers/officials generally suffer from mental and physical ailment due to mounting pressure of daily day- night and strenuous duties. The officers/officials of age group of 45 yrs and above were medically checked by the team of doctors of Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu headed by Kashmir Singh Manhas Dy. Director and K.K.Sharma Superintendent of Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu, in which free Ayurvedic medicines were provided to 150 Police officials. Around 200 police personnel were medically checked up in the camp. The health awareness camp was inaugurated by Dilbagh Singh, IGP Jammu Zone Jammu and on his arrival a bouquet was presented by Shiv Kumar SP to the chief guest. The proceeding of this medical camp was conducted by Dr. Usha Kher Inspector. Many civilians of Shiv Market Jammu also participated. This camp was organized for imparting health education to the police personnel to keep them healthy while discharging their duties under stressful environment. This camp was well attended by DTM/other officers of Railways, officers of BSF, SDPO Vijaypur Atul Sharma, SDPO Railways Jammu P. V Singh, SDPO Railways Udhampur R.K. Kitchloo, Dy SP, GRP Lines P. K Mengi, SHO P/S GRP Jammu R.K Bharadwaj and other officers/officials of GRP Jammu were present. Everybody present lauded the efforts of SP Railway Jammu and requested that more such camps must be organized in future also as these camps prove to be very beneficial. |
