Swarn Lata holds public meeting at village Kuely

JAMMU, May 15: A public meeting was convened at Village Kuely, Block Purmandal under the chairmanship of Vice Chairperson, J&K State Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Scheduled Castes, Swarn Lata.
The prominent persons including Ajmer Singh, Ex-Surpanch, Kewl Kumar, Panch, Hassandin, Panch, Riaz Ahmad, Hans Raj, Yash Paul and Joginder Lal also attended the meeting.
The villager raised various problems of public interest which include road connectivity from village Mandal to Kuely, shortage of electric supply due to non-functioning of one penal of Receiving Station at Mandal, erection of 10 Nos electric Poles at village Rajoli, shortage of drinking water and non-availability of hand pumps at village Rajoli.
The villager also pointed out in the meeting that a leopard attacked their domestic animals as well as human being a number of times and made their life very miserable.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chairperson assured the people that she will make all efforts to redress their genuine problems.
