| Mother's Day celebrated at S.P School | | | early times report
JAMMU, May 15: As a part of Mother's Day celebrations, a function was organised at S.P Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road here with great pomp and show.
On the occasion, different cultural activities were presented by the tiny tots especially of nursery wing which were highly applauded by the audience.
Manit Singh, a student of nursery wing recited a rhyme which was highly appreciated by the spell bound audience.
Parents of the wards appreciated the efforts of the school management in organizing such mega event which will provide platform to the students to exhibit their hidden talent through their cultural items and other co-curricular activities especially on Mother's Day.
Chairman of the school while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of the day. He said that Mother's Day is a celebration that honours mothers and motherhood maternal bonds and the influence of mother in the society.
He thanked the parents for their active participation in the function.
Gifts were also distributed among the parents in the form of tokens on the occasion. |
