Chain strike by Kashmiri migrants enters 51th day | | | early times report JAMMU, May 15: The chain Hunger strike of ll Kashmiri Migrant reliefholders and over aged youth against the apathetic attitude of state government towards them today entered on its 51 th successive day. The protestors said criticized the state government for its negligent attitude towards them and said that they are the worst hit due to the sky rocketing prices of the essential commodities and are finding themselves hard hit for their substance and survival and demanded immediate enhancement in cash assistance to Rs.15000/-per month/per Family. They further added that it has become extremely difficult to make their both end meet and the diseases like diabetes, blood pressure and depression have engulfed the youth of the community, because of the scarcity of resources. They also stated that the delaying tactics adopted by government regarding enhancement in cash relief has forced them to come on roads, despite this the false assurances by the government time and again has obliged the reliefholders to launch a struggle against the government.
