| Inter-zone boys wrestling competitions | | Sahil of MS Sohagni wins 50 kg bout | | early times report
JAMMU, May 16: Sahil Kumar of Middle School Sohagni bagged boys 50 kg weight category gold after he defeated Muradh Ali of High School Badyal Brahmana in the final bout of the inter-zone (under-14) wrestling competition of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government Higher Secondary School Domana, near here.
Similarly, in 45 kg category, Shoukat Ali of HS Gole Gujral emerged winner beating Anil Kumar of MS Malpur in the final bout. The 41 kg gold went to Yaqoob Khan of HS Gole Gujral, who beat Amit Kumar of HS Agore.
In 38 kg weight category, Vishal Mehra of HS Aghora trounced Chetan Kumar of MS Narwal to claim first position. First place in 35 kg bagged by Rakesh Bahadur of HS Paloura beating Tanbir Singh of HS Simbal Camp in the final bout. Rafiq Ahmed of MS Alora emerged winner in 32 kg weight group outplaying Gulshan Singh of MS Kotli Mian Fateh in the final. |
