| GDC Kulgam organises cycle race | | | early times report
srinagar, May 16: The Physical Education Department of Government Degree College (GDC) Kulgam organized its Annual Cycle Race today from the College Campus to the Main Gate of Rice Research Station SKUAST Khudwani covering about 14 kms of distance. In the event, 50 college students participated.
The cycle race was flagged off by the Principal Dr M Y Peerzada from the college Campus and the participants were received by Prof Manzor Ahmad, Prof A M Dar, Prof Riyaz Ahmad, Dr Ajaz Ahmad, Prof Gohwar, and Shamim Ahmad Bhat(PTI) at the finish point.
In the prize distribution function, the first three position holders namely Asif Amin Padder of BG 2nd year, Rouf Ahmad Lone of BG 1st year and Bilal Ahmad Bhat of BG 3rd year, were honoured with trophies & certificates by the college Principal. The co-operation extended by police and Health Department was highly appreciated. |
