| J&K Speed Ball team wins overall national championship trophy | | | early times report
JAMMU, May 16: Jammu & Kashmir Speed Ball team won the over all national championship trophy during 4th national Speed Ball tournament in New Delhi. About 400 students from 17 states of the country participated in the event. A 42 members team from J&K participated under the supervision of Sunny Nanda. While J&K team bagged the over all champion trophy, Andhra Pradesh got the second place and Delhi claimed third place.
The JK team won 16 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze medals respectively. Among those who clinched gold medal in their respective categories included Shivani Saroha, Uditi Verma, Manthan Pandoh, Dhruv Sharma, Heena Bali, Manpreet Singh, Suryansh, Sahil Janjua, Ankit Sharma, Gurmehar Singh, Manika Sharma and Mohd Majeed. |
