Andrabi, Naik appointed spokesmen of JKNPP Kashmir

JAMMU, May 16: Chairman Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Prof Bhim Singh, has appointed Masood Andrabi and Man-zoor Ahmad Naik as spokesmen of JKNPP (Kashmir Province) with immediate effect. Mehboob Ellahi and Yaqoob Dunoo shall be media incharge. Masood Andrabi is Vice President of JKNPP and Manzoor Naik is State Secretary.
A meeting of Kashmir Council, JKNPP was held at its party headquarters, Rajbagh Srinagar which was attended by Masood Andrabi (Vice President), Manzoor Naik (State General Secretary), Farooq Ahmad Dar (Provincial President Kashmir), H.S. Jamwal (Coordination General Secretary), Mehbood Ellahi (State Secretary), Yaqoob Dunoo (Provincial Secretary), Dilawar Ahmad Reshi (Provincial Secretary), Jehangir Ahmad Khan (Provincial Secretary), Ab. Rashid Para (Provincial Secretary), Ali Mohd Dar (District President-Bara-mulla), Ab. Rashid Ganie (District President Gandherbal), Mohd. Yousuf Wani (District President Budgam), Hakeem Arif Ali (District President-Srinagar), Abid Ahmad Shah (District President-Pulwama), Mushtaq Ahamd Khan (District President-Shopian), Mujeeb Siddique (Vice President Youth)
Prof. Bhim Singh called on youth and students in the Valley to join the movement against corrupt, authoritarian and anti-people Government headed by Omar Abdullah to expose, oppose and depose the Government. Prof. Bhim Singh congratulated NPSU and young panthers for starting social boycott against corrupt legislators for supporting corrupt and criminal Government. He also urged Governor to appoint next DGP from state cadre. In a communication to Dr. Manmohan Singh, JKNPP Chief strongly condemned the J&K Govt. for trying to undermine the state police cadre in proposing to import a police cop from outside. JKNPP Chief said that law and order is state subject and the senior most officers of the state police cadre should be entrusted with the responsibility to hold the assignment of next DGP. In his letter, Prof Bhim Singh said that the present situation in J&K would necessitate the appointment of DGP from the state cadre who knows every bit and corner of state and also understands the composite culture of the state and police force.
