| Consumers to register extra load during marriages: PDD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 16:According to Chief Engineer, EM&RE Wing, Kashmir in view of the ongoing marriage season in the Valley, the consumers have been asked to approach the concerned Sub-Divisional Offices for regularization of the extra load being used during the marriage ceremony. They shall retain the receipt of the temporary charges paid for the purpose and produce the same to the inspection squad on demand. Any consumer who fails to register the extra load meant for the illumination shall have to bear the inconvenience on account of disruption of power supply. Besides, penalty as per the J&K Electricity Act, 2010 in vogue shall also be levied against the defaulter. |
