10 hurt as minibus falls in gorge

Kishtwar , May 16: Ten persons were injured, 2 of them seriously, when a minibus, which was on its way from Marmat to Doda, skidded off the road near Balgaran and fell into a gorge.
Police said the incident occured when the minibus (JK06/2675) lost control over the vehicle, resulting in injuries to 10 persons.
The injured were shifted to district hospital, Doda, where the condition of Mohammad Ashraf (40), son of Fatta Ali Butt of Prabal Marmat, and retired ASI John Mohammad
(60), son of Sadrudin Dar of Narnu, Bhaderwah, was stated to be critical.
The other injured included Ajeet Andotra (43) of Goha Marmat, his wife Tulsi Devi (40), Mohammad Raiz (25), son of Manzoor Ahmed of Prabal Marmat, Bharat Singh (50), son of Panshee Singh of Barli Marmat, Sham Lal (35), son of Dhani Ram of Rekha Bang Marmat, Haidati-ul-lah (30), son of Alab Din of Sarak Marmat, Irfan Ahmed (30), son of Shams-ud-Din of Prabal Marmat, and Mohammad Amin (24), son of Mohammad Sharief of Gittar, Assar.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
