ABVP demonstrates, demands resignation of KU employees involved in incident | Disrespect of National Anthem: | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu May 16: Alleging resentment against leniency of state govt towards disrespect to National Anthem, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today held a demonstration under the leadership of state secretary Raghav Sharma against disrespect of National Anthem during the three days International Seminar in KU and demands resignation of students and employees indulged in this anti-national activity. A large number of activists of ABVP gathered at Parade locality in Old city and registered their resentment against leniency of state govt towards these anti-social elements. Speaking on the occasion, Raghav Sharma said that this type of activity shows the separatist attitude of the people there and FIR should be logged against these elements. 'Irony of the matter is that the incident happened in presence of none else but the Governor himself and till now, there is no action taken against those anti-nationalist, he said and added that, "chief minister should intervene in this matter and initiate a inquiry in the sensitive matter. ABVP leader cautioned if govt fails to take any action against these elements, the ABVP will intensify the agitation against this disrespect of national anthem throughout the country. Others who addressed the protestors included Ranbir Singh, Shakti, Rahul Singh, Narinder Singh, Akshay Sharma, Ankush Rajput, Bharat Bhushan, Abhinav, Himanshu, Rohit Manhas, Neeraj and others. |
