| JAMMU, May 17: Even after 13 days of the death of two persons, including a pregnant woman, in the May 5 Gurgaon BMW hit-and-run case, Gurgaon police are yet to nail the real culprit. Agitated over this slow pace of investigation, close relatives and family friends of Sanjay Gulati, who was one of the victims, took out a candle march here Thursday, seeking justice for the victims and severe punishment to the guilty. Gulati, running a transport company, was himself driving an Indigo car when an overspeeding BMW rammed into it at IFFCO crossing in Gurgaon, killing two of them on the spot. The three relatives of Kshama Chopra Shetye, his husband and parents were still struggling for their lives in the hospital. The silent protest march was taken out by Gulati's family, their relatives and friends. Holding placards and burning candles in their hands, they marched from outside dental college gate up to Amphalla, demanding fair and fast trial. Gulati's wife Vaneeta and son Vasu appealed to the state government to take up the matter with Haryana government to get the investigation expedited. |
