| JAMMU, May 17: Kranti Dal strongly condemned the attitude of State Government for neglecting the people of Beli Charana which is just 1 km away from Gandhi Nagar.
Kranti Dal Youth leaders led by its working president Jagdish Sudan and Vice president Sawamy Raj Manhas visited Beli Charana and interacted with local people of Beli Charana who migrated from Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Bhaderwah, etc. and they narrate their pain with the Kranti Dal Youth leaders.
In a press release, Jagdish Sudan said that Beli Charana is a part of Gandhi Nagar constituency but there is zero percent development and many times deputation met the concerned MLA and requested for releasing funds but MLA never take pain towards the development of Beli Charana. Sudan said that the condition of road in the locality is in dilapidated condition besides only 10% BPL cards issued and other 90% BPL families are without BPL cards. He said that the people of the area are facing a lot of hardships as the water supply is irregular. Kranti Dal criticized the State Government and local MLA for ignoring the migrant families who have no access at higher level. Kranti Dal demands special package for the development of Beli Charana colony and also asked the local MLA to visit there and release funds for the development of the area.
Kranti Dal warns the State Government that if development is not taken place shortly the party would launch an agitation.
The local people who met leaders were Darshan Singh, Wali Mohd. Khan, Imran Khan, Shazed Hussain, Raj Kumar, Rattan Lal, Shiv Lal, Sonika Devi, Satya Devi, Nirmal Kumari, Bably Devi and Sudesh Kumari. |
