Why NC 'avoiding' to stick on coalition Dharma…..? | | EARLY TIMES REPORT | 5/19/2012 11:53:41 AM |
| Jammu, May 18: Is NC adhering to coalition Dharma? Answer is an obvious No, as its leadership/cadre has started propagating against Congress ministers who are facing allegations of corruption/favouritism. The latest victim in Congress camp is Manohar Lal Sharma against whom State Accountability Commission (SAC) has recently issued a notice to respond to the allegations of bungling in Cooperative Society department. Furthermore, its not just Manohar Lal Sharma but NC cadre has initiated a veiled attack against all Congress leaders who were earlier Ministers in Omar led state cabinet but had to resign following allegations of corruption/favouritism against them. "So far, doubts are being raised against Congress Ministers mere on allegations. The allegations have not yet been proved. Then why NC is behaving as if Congress Ministers have been proved guilty," voiced middle rung Congress leaders belonging to both Union Minister for health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad as well as Pradesh Congress Committee chief Saif-ud-Din Soz camp. Earlier, it was Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed followed by Sham Lal and Taj Mohi-ud-Din and now it's Minister of State, Manohar Lal Sharma. "Instead of defending its Minister till the final judgment is announced, NC leaders/workers are openly propagating against the Minister Manohar Lal Sharma and demanding his ouster from the council of Ministers," opined political observers further adding that "If NC top brass failed to control its cadre, it would convey a wrong message in Congress circles as if NC top brass wish such activities to continue." "If Congress and NC parties are coalition partner, they must counter such allegations unitedly till the final judgment prevails. It is unfortunate that NC cadre here is further adding fuel in the fire. It's nothing else than sheer greed on behalf of NC to let down Congress leaders before general public," pointed out supporters of Manohar Lal Sharma. "We have seen the working of Manohar Lal Sharma. Besides Billawar Assembly segment which he won by big margin in the previous elections, he addresses the genuine problems of Congress workers of Hiranagar, Kathua, Bani and Basohli Assembly Constituencies. It looks as if some vested interests have hatched a conspiracy against Sharma," Congress workers further pointed out |
