| Jammu, May 18 : A delegation of Jagti Coordination Committee today called on Relief commissioner (M) R K Pandita to discuss the various issues including prolonged power curtailments in the migrant township.
The delegation took up the issues and specifically made mention of the power cuts upto 18 hrs in township resulting into a major problem encountered by the camp dwellers.
Other issues raised in the meeting included posting of at least three camp commandants, one for two zones, adequate transport facility, Repair of road and parks, sanitation maintenance of community halls and construction of mourning hall, enhancement of relief Etc.
Relief Commissioner (Migrant) after listening to the issues assured for full cooperation and early disposal of demands and also to take up with higher authorities for early action. The delegation was comprised Bushan Lal Chand Pandita, R.N.Dhar, Desh Rattan Pandita, Dilip Pandita, Ravi Zutshi, Sanjay Raina , Ashok Bhat, Pran Nath Pandita, Satish Kumar and etc |
