| Jammu, May 18 : An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded today near forward post along Indo-Pak International Border in Samba Sector of Jammu and Kashmir said official sources adding that no casualty or injury is reported. "A IED planted by suspected ultras this morning exploded in forward Mangu Chak village along Indo-Pak international border,'' sources said. A Senior BSF official on anonymity said, "A low intensity IED planted by suspected elements this morning exploded at around 0915 hrs in forward Mangu Chak village along Indo-Pak international border. He said that no casualty or injury to any individual was reported. He said meanwhile the BSF and Police has started a search operation in the said area besides intensifying the security in the area. Earlier the troops of Border Security Force successfully foiled an infiltration bid from across the line near forward post along Indo-Pak International Border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir when BSF troops on Monday night observed movement of suspected militants. |
