| Kishtwar, May 18 : Deputy Commissioner Kisht-war Muhammad Hussain Malik order for suspension of three government teachers allegedly involved in assaulting Ex-Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar on the day of his retirement on April 30 this year.As per the order no 4 issued by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar vide dispatch No DCK/12/129-32, three teachers namely Akhter Hussain Giri (Master), Sanjay Parihar (Teacher) and Amresh Parihar (Teacher) has been placed under suspension."During suspension they shall remain attached in the office of respective headmasters in the Schools. Deputy Commissioner Action comes in wake of inquiry report submitted by inquiry Officer vide No.DIET/K/12/146 dated 12-05-2012, official statement said. The inquiry officer i.e. Principal DIET Kishtwar confirmed that the CEO was manhandled. He has substantiated his findings on the basis of statements from other officers/ teachers and also mentioned that he was himself present on spot.Principal DIET in his report also submitted duty slips as well as attendance sheets of the teachers who have manhandled the CEO and has conveyed that on the attendance sheets(attendance sheets for the month of March and April 2012) the signatures of District Development Commissioner have also been pasted which appears to have been copied from some other documents with the intention to mislead the authorities. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in his order further stated that in view of the above and to inculcate sense of discipline among the teacher community and restore the confidence of general public in the functioning of Govt. offices, the following three teachers are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar further had ordered that R K Shavan (KAS) Assistant Commissioner (Revenue ) Kishtwar will enquire into the matter of pasting of signatures on the attendance sheets and submit the report within three weeks.Taking serious note of verbally disclosure by the Enquiry Officer that these attendance sheets have been provided by I/C CEO Kishtwar. DC Kishtwar telephonically has further ordered I/C CEO who is on leave, to direct his subordinate staff /dealing persons to come with original attendance sheets |
