| Jammu, May 18: Continuing its drive against social evils from the society, Kathua Police today seized huge intoxicant capsules about 3000 and arrested one drug peddlers who were allegedly involved in supplying illegal consignment to the youths.
Reports from Kathua said, "On a specific information police party of PP Industrial Estate Hatli Morh Kathua during patrolling near Nag Nagar Morh Kathua apprehended one person namely Naresh @ Kungri S/O Sheeda R/O W.No.10 Kathua and recovered 1000 Nos of intioxicant capsules trade name 'Par-Van-Spas' from his possession.
In another similar case a drug peddler identified as Sunil Kumar @ Daddu S/O Sheeda R/O W.No.10 Kathua on seeing the Police Party managed to escape from the spot however he had to leave the bag.
During search of the bag 2000 Nos of Par-van-Spas capsules were recovered. On this a Case FIR No.176/2012 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Kathua and investigation is going on. A man hunt has been launched to arrest other main accused in the instant case. |
