Jammu, May 18:Admission process for July 2012 session of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced. The university invites applications for Masters, Bachelors, Diplomas and Certificate programmes for July 2012 admission cycle. The last date for Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelors Preparatory Programme (BPP) and all certificate programmes is 15th June 2012. For other Masters Degree programmes viz MA in Rural Development, Tourism Management, English, Hindi, Philosophy, Gandhi and Peace Studies, Education, Public Administration, Participatory Development, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Adult Education, Extension and Development Studies, Gender and Development Studies, Distance Education, Anthropology, M.Com., Social Work, M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Services Management, Counselling and Family Therapy, Library and Information Science, the last date is 30th July 2012 and with a late fee of Rs 200 upto 14th August 2012. The university also invites applications for Bachelor degree programmes like B.A. in Political Science, History, Economics, Mathematics, Public Administration, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, English, Hindi, Urdu, Tourism Studies, Social Work, Library and Information Sciences, B.Com., B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology and Botany and all diploma programmes. The last date to apply for these programmes is 30th July 2012 and with a late fee of Rs 200 up to 14th August 2012. Students are required to purchase Students' Handbook and Prospectus from Regional Centre Jammu (C/o Govt.
