| Kishtwar, May 18: In an embarrassing development for the security forces the banned militant group Hizbul Mujahideen has managed to paste its poster on the walls of Jamia Masjid Kishtwar situated barely 300 meters away from the police station and the local SDPO office. The poster issued by the divisional commander, Mohammad Amin Butt Jahingir Saroori has warned the people against helping the Indian agencies in their cause. The poster also urged the surrendered militants to join back militancy to fight the cause of self-determination for Jammu and Kashmir. Written in Urdu language, the poster's language is a mix of religious sentiments while addressing some unidentified persons asking them to give back the money which the organization (HM) gave to them on profit sharing bases. HM commander while threatening action against those who swindle the outfit's money urges them to prove that they are the followers of the righteous path. "As we already mentioned about the situation through which we people are passing these days, we urge the people to stop helping Indian agencies and instead think about the life after death." At the end of the poster, the HM Commander said the organization(HM) is hopeful that the money borrower will act on their request before they (HM) decided to take an extreme step. Meanwhile, Kishtwar police termed the pasting of poster on wall of Jamia Masjid Kishtwar as a handiwork of some mischievous elements. While talking to the media persons, DySP HQ Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary said that as per the preliminary investigation police have reached the conclusion that the letter head of HM was designed locally in a computer. He said that police has registered the case and started investigation. Mr. Chowdhary said that there is no need to panic about the presence of HM in Kishtwar. He said that as per the latest inputs from various security agencies, there is no movement of militants in Kishtwar district as of now. Earlier similarposters had come to the forefront after the killing of a Pakistani militant Arif Junaid alias Abu Maz of LeT. Maz had reportedly pushed Hawala money to the tune of Rs. 50 lakhs in various trades at Kishtwar and the list of borrowers had included the name of some influential businessman's and some contractors. It is worthwhile to mention here that security agencies have launched massive search operation against the HM militants in different areas of Kishtwar district and have even announced huge cash rewards on them which includes 10 lakh cash reward on three HM militants namely Amir Kamal alias Akram, Junaid Akram Malik alias Juni and Shakir Hussain alias Chota Hafiz allegedly involved in September 7 last year blast outside Delhi High Court killing 16 persons. |
