| NDS felicitates Raj Kumar Sehgal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 19: Nami Dogri Sanstha(NDS) today felicitated noted literary social and cultural luminary Raj Kumar Sehgal with Sanstha Samman 2012. The felicitation function was held under the aegis of Art Foundation at K.L Seghal Hall. Regional Director IGNOU K.K Bhat was the Chief Guest while Rajni Sehgal Superintendent of Police Central Jail Kot Bhalwal was the Guest of Honour. Prof. Savita Bakshi Additional Secretary Cultural Academy was the special invitee. S.S Anand Lehar, renowned Urdu short storey writer and senior Advocate of Supreme Court of India presided over the function and Dogri Harish Kaila also shared the dais. Organizing Secretary Nami Dogri Sanstha Chanchal Sharma read paper on the contribution and services rendered to the society by Raj Kumar Sehgal through literary and social work. While addressing the programme, K.K Bhat in his address said that Raj Kumar Sehgal is senior most in the field of literary social work and cultural fields of J&K state. He said that literature is bondage of brotherhood and it brings people near. He said that fine arts takes out venomous attitudes of people and makes society better place to live. He lauded her involvement in the literary endeavors and congratulated on her felicitation. |
